Murray is responsible for discretionary and non-discretionary accounts invested in infrastructure assets for institutional clients based in Australia and Asia. He had 14 years’ financial markets experience prior to joining Mercer in December 2012. Previously, he worked on behalf of superannuation funds investing in infrastructure assets and private equity funds. Prior to April 2005, Murray worked at the Australian Office of Financial Management, which managed the Australian Government’s debt portfolio. During that time, he served as debt management adviser to the Papua New Guinea Treasury in 2000-01. Murray has earned a degree in economics (first-class honours) from La Trobe University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
