Turner has 22 years of debt markets experience. He was previously responsible for covering the largest private equity firms in the Australian market, in NAB’s acquisition finance team. Turner was rated one of the top five debt capital markets bankers in Australia in the 2012 East Coles annual bankers’ survey. Prior to 2007, he spent eight years working in London, including five years as a debt specialist within the investment banking division of Credit Suisse. Before that, he spent three years at FleetBoston (now part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch), where he concentrated on leveraged media and telecom credits and was responsible for European secondary-loan trading. Before moving to London, he worked in corporate and institutional roles in Australian trading banks. Turner has earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sydney.
